Leicester's Hospitals host Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha's birthday bash
Wednesday 11 April 2018
There were plenty of fun Foxes festivities when Leicester’s Hospitals had the privilege of playing host to Leicester City chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha’s birthday celebrations.
Club aces Kasper Schmeichel, Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho came down to join in a charity children’s party in the L’Eat restaurant at the Leicester Royal Infirmary.
The party was arranged by Leicester City Football Club for patients aged 3-11 years old who have appointments at the Children’s Hospital to celebrate their chairman’s 60th birthday.
From face painting, teddy bear making, games and activities, it was a fantastic event enjoyed by patients, their families, hospital staff and the players. All patients enjoyed a terrific party feast, celebrated cutting a large birthday cake and had special LCFC goody bags to take home.
Khun Vichai has been a long and generous supporter of Leicester Hospitals Charity, most remarkably having donated £2million to our Children’s Hospital Appeal in the wake of his club’s Premier League triumph in 2016.
All of us at Leicesters Hospitals are grateful for Khun Vichai’s overwhelming and continued support and would like to thank everyone at Leicester City for helping to organise this thoroughly enjoyable day
