Donating in memory of a loved one
Every day we receive donations that are given in memory of loved ones. Quite often these come via the Funeral Directors as the donations are made in lieu of flowers at funerals. We are truly touched and grateful to receive these donations at what must be a very difficult time for all concerned.
Whether the donation will be made directly from the family and individuals or via the Funeral Director, you can specify the department that you wish to benefit from any donation you make in memory of a loved one. When sending in your donation please include a short letter explaining who the donation is in memory of and the department (for example Cancer, Heart, Stroke, Intensive Care, Renal, Surgery etc) that you wish to benefit. If you also include your name and address, we can send you an acknowledgement letter to confirm that we have received the donation and that it has been put into the fund you required.
If you would like to send your donation in the post please make cheques payable to: Leicester Hospitals Charity- [area you'd like to donate to], for example "Leicester Hospitals Charity- Cancer Department", and post to - Leicester Hospitals Charity, Belgrave House, LGH, Gwendolen Road Leicester LE5 4PW
If you are posting us a personal donation and you are a UK tax payer please click here to complete a Gift Aid Declaration which will allow us claim an additional 25% on your donation at no cost to you.
