Leicester Hospitals Charity Foxtrot Walk 2017

More than twenty years ago the Orthopaedic Department at Leicester's Hospitals held a Charity Walk to raise money for their department. This went on to become the Leicester Hospitals Charity Foxtrot Walk and it takes place every other year to raise much needed funds for orthopaedic research and training in Leicester.

Monies raised from previous events have been used to support research into many areas including hip and knee replacements and soft tissue problems in the arm and leg.  In recent years we have raised money to purchase a machine for testing materials and techniques used in orthopaedic surgery.   This year we are raising money to continue the various research projects connected with joint surgery.

This years 1 mile walk will take place at Leicester General Hospital on Sunday 18th June and we would love for you to join us. To take part in this event you must register by midday on Friday 2nd June 2017.

We look forward to seeing you there!!
